Founder Anthony Mauro launched DraftBuzz Hockey in 2013, after spending time as an editor and scout in the independent hockey scouting arena. He holds a bachelors degree in Sports Management and has experience in digital publishing.

On top of utilizing traditional scouting methods, Mauro has created and fine tuned multiple proprietary analytics and metrics involving statistics, physical performance, and developmental measures.
